PRETTY WOMAN

 

Pretty Woman is a 1990 romantic comedy fiLM set in Los Angeles, California, and directed by Garry Marshall. the film star are Richard Gere and Julia Roberts, and features Hector Elizondo, Ralph Bellamy (in his final performance), and Jason Alexander in supporting roles.

 

Originally intended to be a dark cautionary tale about class and prostitution in Los Angeles, this motion picture was reconceived as romantic comedy

 

Pretty Woman is considered to be one of the most popular films of all time. Julia Roberts

 received a Golden Globe Award, and a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Actress.

 

 

The soundtrack was a great success. Roxette, Natalie Cole, Peter Cetera, David Bowie, Red hot Chili Peppers etc... were some of the singers and groups of the o.s.t.

 

  Roxette is a Swedish pop rock duo, consisting of Marie Fredriksson (vocals) and Per Gessle (vocals and guitar). Formed in 1986, the duo became an international act in the late 1980s, when they released their breakthrough album Look Sharp!. Their third album Joyride, which was released in 1991, became just as successful as its predecessor. Roxette went on to achieve nineteen UK Top 40 hits^[1] and several US Hot 100 hits, including four US number-ones with "The Look", "Listen to Your Heart", "It Must Have Been Love", and "Joyride".^[2] Other hits include "Dangerous", "Fading Like a Flower", "Dressed for Success" and "The Centre of the Heart".^[

  "Last Dance" is a 1978 hit song by singer Donna Summer. The song appeared on the Thank God It's Friday movie soundtrack. It was written by Paul Jabara and was co-produced by Giorgio Moroder.   Thank God It's Friday is a 1978 film whose sountrack (triple album) was a commercial success. It contained contributions from some of the biggest names in disco at the time, including Donna Summer, Diana Ross, Thelma Houston, The Commodores, and many others.

Ghost is a 1990 American romantic fantasy film starring Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore, Tony Goldwyn, and Whoopi Goldberg. It was written by Bruce Joel Rubin and directed by Jerry Zucker.^[2]
The plot centers on a young woman  (Moore) and the ghost of her murdered lover (Swayze), who tries to save her with the help of a reluctant psychic (Goldberg).
The film was a great commercial success-
It was nominated for five Academy Awards (oscars), including Best Picture, Best Score and Best Film Editing. It won the awards for Best Supporting Actress for Goldberg and Best Original Screenplay. Swayze and Moore both received Golden Globe Award nominations for their performances, while Goldberg won the BAFTA,  and the golden Golden Globe
